Rural house in Collsuspina: sleep in the heart of the Moianès

Collsuspina is a village of around 350 people at 887 m altitude, between Barcelona, Vic and Manresa. Cal Correu is a stone house in the old quarter with two self-contained homes.

Cal Correu, a stone house in the old quarter

Cal Correu stands at Carrer Nou 12, inside the historic centre of Collsuspina. It is a restored stone house that keeps its carved lintel, listed in the Cultural Heritage Map of the Barcelona Provincial Council and visible from the street as you arrive.

The house is split into two homes, each rented whole and separately: Hort, on the ground floor, with 3 bedrooms and space for 7 people; and Xida, with 2 bedrooms and space for 6. Booking both at once sleeps up to 13 — comfortable for two families or a group of friends.

Both homes have a fully equipped kitchen, a fireplace, free WiFi and access to the garden, terrace and barbecue.

What to see in and around Collsuspina

You can walk the whole village in under half an hour, and paths towards the plateau and the cliffs start right from the centre.

The old quarter and the church

Stone streets, houses with carved lintels and the parish church. A short stroll, best at dusk when the light on the stone is at its warmest.

The cliffs and the plateau viewpoint

Collsuspina sits on the edge of the Moianès plateau: a few minutes on foot brings you to open views towards the Montseny and, on clear days, the Pyrenees.

Dark skies and starry nights

With little light pollution, you can see the stars from Cal Correu's garden with the naked eye. In August, the Perseids.
